Must Know Packing Tips for your Travel

Girls are fond of traveling. They love to prepare themselves special in every moment on everyday.  And, when it comes to traveling girls like to carry many things with them so that they may not regret for any thing missed, be it blow-dryer, make-up kit, clothes, moisturizer, shoes or bag.  Their consciousness regarding packaging will definitely make their travel one of the best moments of their life. And why not? After all, we live in the world of Facebook, twitter, Instagram and many more where people are busy uploading their pictures of every single moment captured. Hence, packaging is something special for girls in comparison to men as they (men) have few things to pack for.

Here below we discuss the ideas regarding packaging:

  1. Dress for the weather

Before I start packing, the first thing I do is check the weather of the place I’m traveling to. Now, just because you are going to warm countries does not mean that it’s going to be warm all the time. I have learnt my lesson on many occasions. As a backup, do take in your jackets or cardigan according to the weather.

  1. Pre select outfit

Second and the most important step is pre-selecting the outfit. This is a great trick that I have learnt from my friend, and since then, I have been using it. She always looks great when she travels and she pre-selects everything that she is taking, even accessories, shoes and scarf. What she does is, she takes a picture of every single look, with all the dresses on, and finalizes them for particular days. I think this makes things so much easier.

  1. What to wear on the day of travel?

Now, before I start my packing in the carryon, the first thing I think of is the outfit that I’m going to wear on the day of travel. To me, this is very important because I can always wear the heaviest clothes, and I do not have to pack them in the carryon. Anything like a trench coat or a leather jacket, hat, wedges, or anything that is heavy!

And one more thing, when I choose to take a hat, I make sure to put it on. Believe me, you don’t want to pack and ruin it.

  1. Choose light weight items

Another thing that I always keep on my mind when putting my outfits together is – I select items that are made of very light weight fabrics such as blouses, scarf, light weight cardigan or any other item that will not take lot of space. This tip will help you pack it all in one little carry on.

  1. Fold and roll items

Once you know what outfits you are taking, next part is to actually pack them into the carry on. The little trick that you can use while packing it nice and neat into your carry on is to fold that item, then tightly roll them. After rolling them, you can pretty much tuck them in every space that you have in the luggage or in the carry on.

  1. Choose your shoes

Next step is to choose what shoes you are taking on this trip. Like I said earlier, you are wearing the heaviest pair of your shoes. If its winter, the boots and in summer, the wedges. But, if it’s a five day trip, personally, I take 3 pairs of shoes.

  1. A nude pair of heelsbecause it goes with everything.
  2. Flats, because I can walk in them all day long.
  3. Anything that you know looks cute and comfortable.

Now we are packed. It’s not that difficult, is it? The first time I tried, I honestly thought that it was not possible, but when I packed it all, I actually had few extra spaces that I did not use on the trip. That made me realize how much I used to over-pack.

Chet is always on time, when he's not (very rarely) he's apologetic about it. His prices are consistently the best in the area. Very very accommodating to your needs without charging exhorbitant "waiting fees". Can't recommend him enough.
